22 years ago I was introduced to the idea of healing retreats myself. I was run down, over worked, exhausted and had lost my zest for life. I had read about detox retreats and took the plunge and what happened was amazing.

It changed my life.

In January 2010, November 2011, January 2013 and 2015 our venue was Swisscare, a small and elegant hotel on the Sinai peninsular, on the Red Sea. It is off the beaten track, away from large commercial resorts but not far from Sharm el Sheikh, and has a lovely beach, pool and coral reef with spacious private suites for guests. Perfect for a healing retreat in Egypt. 

This is a poem from Teresa who attended the January 2015 healing and detox retreat in Nuweiba, shared with us on our last evening of poetry and song. Its called The Fab Four.

We love Egypt and its warm sunny weather and beautiful landscapes. Here we follow a fresh fruits and vegetable juice diet with afew days of raw solid meals at the start and end for transitioning. The programme includes stress release through therapies and group self help workshops. A long stay retreat is being planned for September-October and December 2016 to January 2017.

Susan booked an exclusive healing retreat following a revelation that shook her marriage. Her husband had had an affair. The hot pain of betrayal ripped through to her core, she was devasted, future dreams shattered, self confidence at an all time low. After her 2 day healing retreat with Sandra, The Love Clinic, using EMO Energy in Motion for emotional transformation Susan was amazed that she really had healed and was able to put it all behind her. Broken heart mended, relationship and self confidence back at the end of her retreat she wrote this poem.
