In January 2010, November 2011, January 2013 and 2015 our venue was Swisscare, a small and elegant hotel on the Sinai peninsular, on the Red Sea. It is off the beaten track, away from large commercial resorts but not far from Sharm el Sheikh, and has a lovely beach, pool and coral reef with spacious private suites for guests. Perfect for a healing retreat in Egypt. 

Habiba Beach Lodge is an ideal venue for our cleansing healing retreat as its close to nature, a simple life, with a warm supportive hospitality and community.

It's a very simple resort on the beach in Nuweiba with 10 ensuite air conditioned guest rooms with an organic farm established since 2007 and a date plantation. It was set up by Maged El Said, lover of Sinai and from a desire to give back to community through sharing his passions about nature and people. The food at Habiba is mostly organic from their farm or freshly caught from the Red Sea and the farm is part of Maged's sustainable organic farming community project with education and involvement of the local bedouin community. 

Accommodation at Habiba is simple but clean and the bathroom facilities are modern and clean. Simple wooden furniture shows all the creative ways that palm trees and their leaves can be used. Single twin/double and triple rooms are available. Habiba Beach Lodge has interesting visitors from Sinai journalists, local bedouin elders, doctors and researchers of the Sinai area, guests that come back every year, and friends of the owner and his family and volunteer woofers from the organic farm. So its great for learning about the local culture.

I first fell in love with Egypt in December 2004 on my first trip where I stayed at Sharm el sheikh and did a Christmas Day trip to Cairo. From the outset I was fascinated by the culture, the architecture, the exotic fragrances and oriental cuisine, the natural beauty of the Red Sea region, the jaw dropping extremes of Cairo and not least, the warmth and the spirit of the Egyptian people. I was hooked so choosing Egypt as a venue for my healing retreats was a natural for my own enjoyment and to share the joy and mystique of this wonderful country with others.

Looks can be deceptive. They say don't judge a book by it's cover. This is true of Sayadeen Village, the home of our healing and detox retreats in Egypt.

In beautiful Mezina Bay in Nuweiba, nestled between Sinai mountains, the Gulf of Aqaba and the Saudi Arabian mountains across the sea sits Sayadeen. Somewhere between a camp and a hotel, three stars they say, some would argue less, others would say more.... those who take the time to dig deeper discover the true Spirit of Sayadeen and understand what they mean when they say 'Sayadeen is a State of Mind'.

Al Sayadeen Village is small hotel situated in the beautiful Mezina Bay, close to the port and 15 km from the main town of Nuweiba, Sinai Egypt. Its style of simple rustic bungalow accomodation is deceptive on the outside, as within, all rooms and facilities are immaculate and comfortable to suit our needs as we focus on health, weight loss, energy vitality relaxation and releasing all that stress. We are blessed to be have the magnificant private stately home near Horsham in West Sussex for our UK detox and healing retreat dates in the UK. With all guest rooms finished with the utmost love and attention to detail and gardens whose beauty quite simply overwhelmed me the first time I visited, a detox healing retreat or residential training course here is a real treat.
