Arrival to The Venue Hurghada House of Healing
Two lady lawyers from London, Juliet and Dawn land in Hurghada for their healing and detox retreat.
Welcomed personally at the airport and taken to the private villa with beautiful pool afew minutes from the airport and a short drive from the sea where this personalised detox retreat was taking place.

We transitioned into the juice detox with a plentiful raw vegan menu, all prepared and served beside the pool.

Juice Days
We had three full days of juices, served 4 times a day, a rainbow diet with Moringa superfood supplement for extra greens.

Then we transitioned back onto raw vegan but left some space to sample oriental breakfast, a taste of Egyptian food, at my favourite classy beach side restaurant Mahmya Beach before taking my guests back to the airport to travel home.
Therapies and Relaxation
Included in the package was massage therapies, emotional and energy healing sessions and meditation in the evenings and time to just relax and enjoy the pool.
 
Hurghada Red Sea and Desert Experience
And you couldnt come all this way without experiencing some of Egypt and The Red Sea.
The healing retreat package included two outings:
A lazing on the beach day with juices
 
and a most amazing day on a boat trip to Giftun Island and Orange Bay with two stops for snorkling.
Absolutely phenomenal !
     
 
Optional Excursions
Exhilirating Desert Safari and Unforgettable Luxor Trip
There were other excursion options available and my guests decided to take a desert safari with camel rides, fireshow and sufi whirling dervish show and Dawn took a trip from Hurghada to Luxor. The Luxor trip meant us both getting up at 3.30 am to prepare juices, to personally deliver my guest to the pickup point. It was a three hour bus ride to Luxor to spend the day there and back to Hurghada by 10 pm. A long day but Dawn said was absolutely worth it!

WOW..what a great retreat. A brilliant opportunity to de-stress, unwind and get healthy.
Sandra's approach is great as if you don't want to participate in the wide range of healing treatments and work that she can do with you then she is OK with that..I really appreciated her understanding of that.
The accommodation was clean and welcoming. Any issue encountered was dealt with swiftly. Not 5 star but definitely a place that you can stay at with ease. The pool is fantastic and really lovely.
I enjoyed the food that was prepared, all raw and so very tasty. The cashew nut dressing and peanut dressing on salads are recipes that I am taking home for sure. The juices were wonderful and really left me feeling energised and my skin glowing.
Sandra also helped to facilitate some great trips and the boat trip to the Island was fantastic. For someone who wasn't very confident in water, I have become a water baby overnight!!!
Overall a great retreat, definitely worth the cost and I would highly recommend.

The Healing Retreat is a welcome opportunity to unwind. The energy work which Sandra does is an rewarding experience unlocking and giving inwardly insight. I arrived at my stay stressed by work and relationships feeling blocked, at the end feeling relief. The accommodation has an air of shabby chic and although a little tired this does lend to the focus being one of well- being. The juices were delectable a myriad of tastes and colour and the raw food salads although vegan were filling and substantial. There are excursions which your host is happy to organise as an optional extra, the trip to the desert being a particularly exhilarating experience. Overall this was a great visit.
P.S. Got home weighed myself... I lost 4 Kilos in 6 days!!
