Photos from Jan 2013 Healing Retreat

We were a smaller group on this January healing retreat but we had a wonderful time. Between us we had a retired politician, an international HR talent spotter, a nurse, a wellbeing coach, an excellent massage therapist, the wonderful Yoga Jo and myself for emotional healing and transformation. Enjoy the photos and comments from our retreat ...

The detox menu was delicious and healthy, the 10 days juice fast so much easier than we thought so we all lost weight and felt fabulous :-)

At 7.30 it was morning yoga by the pool with Jo for stretching, strengthening, and to get the energy flowing for the day

Going for a daily swim in the Red Sea surrounded by mountains and sunshine was awesome, As was the daily mud scrub for the skin before coming out. The pool, though so appealing, was only for the brave in January....it was freezing! and yet the sea was warm and wonderful!

We actually did 10 days on juices during this 2 week retreat, starting and ending with 2 days raw meals to transition in and out. Everyone found it surprisingly easy. The transitioning helped plus the good nutrition planning with the juice receipes and some green superfood supplements to support also. Morning and evening juice was in the restaurant but mid day juices were by the pool.

We all lost weight, got healthier, released aches and pains both physical and emotional, and enjoyed the friendship and love among us.

We had afew local trips out meeting the bedouins. Farag a local tour guide that we have met afew times now, invited us to his home for Egyptian tea and coffee, and to meet his family. We enjoyed their hospitality and seeing how they live, and we did a spot of shopping in their bazaars !
